Media Accredidation for the 2024 NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show

Greetings!

The 2024 Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow is going to be a truly spectacular event, and we look forward to our media colleagues providing coverage of this once in a lifetime occurrence.

With the U.S. Air Force’s Thunderbirds scheduled to join this year’s event, community and media interest is at an all-time high, and we’re anticipating record crowds for the two-day spectacle Nov. 1 and 2.

We would like to encourage accredited members of the media to complete the application process as soon as possible; we’re also anticipating significant media interest in this event!

So please take a moment and complete the following form to ensure your organization will be able to attend and provide coverage of this event to your respective audiences.

Please note that all 2024 NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow media applications will be vetted by the NAS Pensacola Public Affairs Office and NAS Pensacola Navy Security Forces as well as other partner law enforcement agencies as applicable to facilitate access.

Please note the following: 

  • Only three representatives from any media organization will be granted access to the media stand per day.
  • There will be a limit of 50 media passes granted each day for the Nov. 1 and 2 airshows.
  • Any journalist substitutions after one has been approved will be made on a case-by-case basis.
    • Due to time constraints in the vetting process, it is unlikely that any international media outlets will be approved a substitution after Oct. 1, 2024.
  • If you are an international media outlet planning on attending as an accredited outlet, we will be accepting accreditation packages from Aug. 15, 2024, to Oct. 1, 2024.
  • Domestic media outlets need to complete and return the application no later than Oct. 15, 2024
